Learn to use WordPress at your business premises in Milton Keynes

From time to time and in between the countless website that I design for my clients, I’m sometimes asked to undertake WordPress training in Milton Keynes. Actually for legalities sake I ought to correct that, I offer training on how to use WordPress. I’m not affiliated with WordPress, nor will any one earn a spanky branded certificate upon completion of training with me.
What they will have gained by the end however, is a sound understanding and knowledge of how to use WordPress properly and how WP principals relate to the effective administration of the website that they use at work.
WordPress now powers over 20% of all the websites on line and much of it’s success is derived from the fact that it’s so easy to learn how to use. Not withstanding that, although some features are pretty obvious and make intuitive sense others are not always immediately clear to some and this is where I come in.
Often I’m contacted by individuals who are already using WordPress but are struggling to complete some specific tasks that might relate to the day to day administration of a particular website. If you’ve ever been in the position of having been thrown in at the deep end and just told to get on with a new system, you’ll know that the fear of doing something wrong, of breaking the systems itself can be paralysing. Some of the people who contact me are at their whit’s end. They know that the task should be simple (and almost always, it is) They know also that others in the company (perhaps even the boss) are watching and that their mistakes will be public and perhaps even costly.
Low Cost WordPress Training
For these situations I offer WordPress training at their business premises so that we can work together on the exact system and tasks that are causing concern. By working in this way my students are able to not just understand the principals and methods of WordPress, but how they relate to the execution of tasks and the management of a system that they’re already reasonably familiar with.
Every training session starts with a full system back up. By learning how to do this it it removes risk. Knowing that we can restore their site, emboldens my clients and suddenly they have the confidence to try new things and learn from the results.
For my part, teaching people to use WordPress isn’t really my core business and I don’t charge much for it but training assignments offers a welcome break from the design studio. Additionally it’s a great way of connecting with the local business community. The number of times a training enquiry develops into a new order for web design means that a little sideline service also doubles up as an effective lead generation tool. At the very least I’m able to gain useful insight as to what services features and functions can be replicated in the websites that I design for my clients.

WordPress Training – Rates
My rates are highly competitive I charge just £50 for the first hour and £25 per hour thereafter which positions me among the cheapest WordPress training providers available here locally in Milton Keynes. Normally 2-4 hours are sufficient to help a client get to grips with the system that they’re using and understand how to overcome the issues which had been holding them back.
