Towards the end of December last year we had a very interesting project that came to my attention via my associate Sara.
Sara has just launched her own start up company Yeldo Marketing & Business Services Ltd, which specialise in providing event management solutions. Yeldo has been contracted to provide event support and help organise the International Physical Internet Conference (IPIC 2019), an event sponsored by the Dept for Transport amongst others, for which she needed a e-ticketing solution – this is where I came in.
The budget for this build had been set at a fairly modest level but the project brief was demanding and we were working on a very tight deadline which required us to work over the Christmas period. But even though resources were scarce and the pressure was on, we delivered on time and on budget and deployed this new standalone system on January 11th 2019 to the domain https://IPIC2019.co.uk
I’m told that Sara’s client is thrilled with the system we have created which incorporates a check-in app to streamline the booking in of visitors at the high profile multi-day event, as well as a number of other time saving tools which provide functions such as automation of tickets delivery via email, the distribution of visitor information packs and even the creation of delegate badges.
