Two New Strings For My Bow – Photoshop Training & eCatalogue Design

This is a week of firsts here at Arena DM as I’ve been asked to supply services that until now I had never previously been asked for.

A flash powered flip-book style e-catalogue.

Now in my humble opinion I these flip book flash presentations look a little dated for my taste and I think there are better ways to present a company’s product brochure but never the less the order came in and I was certainly delighted to have finally won the business of long term target Jora Collections.

Jora Collections are wholesaler importers of a wonderful range of prom dresses and formal and evening wear and together we have held preliminary discussions about a number of projects over a time frame of nearly two years. Patience has paid of on this occasion because last week Jora placed their order for a new website and e-catalogue to mark their spring 2016 range.

The e-catalogue is already live and can be viewed at http://joracollections.uk

Photoshop Training Services in Milton Keynes

My other first for the week is a Photoshop Training session. I came about this client quite by accident. My wife Sara, who also works in the business with me happened to spot a company in Milton Keynes looking for a person to teach them how to use Photoshop. The company have been running a successful eshop website (Opencart) for over 5 years and the Directors of lovethelinks.com wanted to be able to produce more of their marketing, in-house.

As a web designer, Adobe’s Photoshop is a basic tool of the trade and so consequently I’m very familiar with it but although I’ve been asked to undertake Joomla, WordPress, Magento and Opencart system training many times in the past, this is the first occasion that I’ve been asked to teach basic graphic design.

Having met with the Ladies from Love The Links, they were suitably convinced as to my credentials and their training will begin on Wednesday.
